Kid's and Henry's Once in a Lifetime Adventure 2011 - DAY TWO

On this day we, made breakfast amidst the snow.  I was quite worried that we wouldn't see Mt. Rainier because of the clouds.  I feared we'd have another day like the day before and be unable to see the peak that lay before us.  However, we were quite lucky and the clouds cleared up and we were able to the Mountain.  It only stayed cleared for less than an hour and then it started to get cloudy again!  We also went up a windy road and saw waterfalls and beautiful views.  This mountain is nearly 4,400 meters tall.  This is a popular weekend destination for those in the Seattle area, as well ~

6월인데 사방 천지가 눈이랍니다. 믿기시나요?? 다들 따듯한 핫초코 한 컵씩 손에 들고 눈산 하이킹!

산을 내려가는 중간 만난 Mr. Fox!! 야생 여우를 만날줄이야~!!! 다들 신났지만 가까이 가면 안되서 조용히 멀리서 사진만 열심히 찍었죠.

멋진 계곡이 있어서 한창 구경을 했답니다.

계곡을 보고 다시 캠프사이트로 출발하는데 Mr. Fox를 한 번 더 만났답니다.

가는 길에 만난 폭포. 정말 정말 멋진 폭포였어요.

점심을 먹기 위해서 잠깐 멈췄답니다.

 

점심을 준비하는 동안 아이들은 기회를 놓치지 않고 신나게 놀고 있네요.
