First Basketball Game!!

On Sunday, Jan. 13th, was the first basketball game!  The Hoodview boys team played at 4 pm and the girls team played at 6pm.  It was the first game and I thought they played very well and tried hard for their team.  Their was some confusion at times but later they will improve even more.  Both teams lost but they were still excited to play basketball!  It was so good to see them running and exercising.  Exercise is good for the body and the brain!  Ann scored two baskets and Zoey scored one basket.  I was pretty surprised!!  To celebrate the ending of a first game, Grammy and I took the kids to a delicious Mexican Restaurant for dinner.

Kevin is number 12!!

Kevin played defense very well! He wasn't shy about saving the ball. Next, he'll be working on offense. These days, he wants to practice shooting baskets. It'll be enjoyable to watch his basketball skills improve!
